Urban art with a food mile message

Encouraging people to eat local is important and what better way to do it then decorate a boring power box on a major pedestrian thorough fare.  This painted box on Market Street in Brisbane city, brightens the urban landscape and tells the food mile story. Love it!

During the week hundreds of people use this footpath to connect to the riverside office buildings. I wonder how many people have taken the time to read this box?

There is no obvious advertising on this box. It uses Stanthorpe apples as the food mile illustration but is plugging the general message to eat local and support our farmers.  If anyone knows the origin of this painted box please share, I am curious to find out.
